Malargüe Planetarium
This astronomical outreach center allows you to live a first-class audiovisual experience. Here the guides with their various activities and talks teach you how to interpret the Malargüe sky and outer space.
The Malargüe Planetarium Complex is made up of three buildings that fuse the most representative cultures of astronomy and some tourist places in the city in their architecture and design.
It is made up of the reception center, where you will be welcomed and prepared to take a walk through the complex.
The Astronomical Museum, where the guides will use different artifacts to help you understand more than one science in a fun way.
In the park of the same complex there are sundials where they will show you, in addition to solar time, solar cycles such as the winter or summer solstice depending on the time of year you visit.
Finally, there is the induction room where the planetarium’s own function takes place. It has capacity for 65 people comfortably seated in chairs inclined for this purpose.
Finally, astronomical observations are also offered at night by local astronomers on site.
