The mill building is located a few meters south of the old town of the Estancia de la Orteguina on Av. San Martín.

Its construction dates back to 1878 and it served as a storage facility for cereals in its main building and a milling machine on the upper floor. The raw material, wheat, was sown in the irrigated fields of the estancia and then transported to the mill for processing.

From the outside you can see the restoration work that has been carried out in recent times.
